It’s been a while since I’ve had time to blog. I’m so happy to finally share this gorgeous session that’s been sitting on my computer for a while! This romantic picnic couple’s session at the Provo Orchard was SO pretty, and so fun to photograph! Taylor and Julian are the sweetest couple, and I had so much fun photographing them.

I met Taylor early in 2017 when I started photographing for Called to Surf. She started modeling the same day I started photographing for them. We got to know each other after doing photoshoots twice a week for a year! We are both studying at BYU, where Taylor is studying marketing. She currently does the social media and content creation for Nena & Co, and does an amazing job!

During our session I learned that Taylor & Julian love dogs! I brought my puppy Rudy, and we incorporated their love for dogs into their session. There’s nothing like juicy red strawberries, sparkling cider, crackers and cheese, and a cute puppy! It was a charming scene.

How To Get The Style for a Romantic Picnic Couple’s Session

Their outfits were perfectly styled for a summer couple’s session. They both wore light colors, which helped create the light, romantic mood we were aiming for. Taylor’s dress (from Called to Surf) incorporated pops of red and orange, which added to the summery mood. In the meantime, Julian wore a simple light colored shirt and denim that complimented Taylor’s outfit. A summery straw hat was the perfect cherry on top for Taylor’s outfit! The best part of this session was the fun time we had! I love when couple’s are creative with the concepts they want for their session. The weather was perfect, and the blossom trees were beautiful, and smelled so good! There were also some deer wandering around in the forest, which made it even better.

A romantic picnic couple’s session was so much fun. I hope to do more in the future! Thanks Taylor & Julian for having me (and Rudy!)
